Current Relationship:

Josh was his best friend back home, but also one of his worst enemies. Upon his arrival on the island, Sam still had some unresolved issues to work out with Josh. The whole selling him thing, for example, was still high on his priority list.

At the time he was still with Tony and newly over what remained of his feelings for Johnny, but shortly after Johnny kicked Josh's ass on Sam's behalf, he began to realize the error of his ways...sort of. Josh, being Josh, got his way with Sam and he made the decision to leave what might've been the healthiest relationship he'd ever have to be with Josh. Not two weeks later, Tony disappeared from the island. Sam and Josh are still 'together', but living in the realm of emotionally stunted teenagers. They haven't really admitted that they love each other. Well, more than once at least and even then they were coked out so we're unsure if it really counts.

Sam is the only person on the island Josh won't sell.
